This Giveaway that happened on my social media chanels is now closed. The Winners are Priyanka Soni and Priyanka Mansotra. Congratuations to the winners.
Sayuri turning ten, is a milestone in my life. It is not simply a brand or a business for me but my baby. I have not been the greatest mother, I’ll admit that. I have manipulated the brand, used, abused and ignored her. However, she comes back running to me whenever I need her and envelops me in pure happiness. More than me, my parents, particularly my mom knows how important Sayuri is to me. She has personally seen every thorn that I had to navigate. She knows how every rupee was made. Thus, She wanted to have a gala celebration for Sayuri’s 10th Anniversary.
She wanted people to see the amount of work that I have done in these 10 years and hear what they think of them. I wanted to do an exhibition and not a celebration. Both did not work out. Not only did I not have the time, resources and energy to plan and execute an event, I also fell seriously ill. So I did what I could from my bed. I Posted images and memories of Sayuri as my Instagram stories. The result was overwhelming.
#muchlove
Love poured in from all over the world. Clients who had bought years ago wrote to me and told me how much they cherish my work. People said that the pieces have brought them pure joy. They said that the pieces have made them look beautiful, feel wonderful – a great version of themselves. Friends wrote to me congratulating me for navigating all the hurdles and for my hard work. There were fellow designers who sent notes appreciating my creativity. Some even said that reading through my journey made them emotional. People I had no idea about (whom I have never interacted before) wrote to me to tell me that I was an inspiration. That I encouraged them to follow their dreams; that my work motivated them to be better.
WOW!! Thank you all so very much. I had no idea that this would be the impact of a simple idea. I am humbled that you all think so wonderfully high of me. Yours words have given me a lot of faith, confidence, and encouragement. I only hope that I can continue to work to work hard and give you ideas, products that make you feel fabulous. I hope that together we can create products that make you happy.
Sayuri’s 10th Anniversary Giveaway
As a little Thank you I have some surprises for you. I begin with these giveaways. You might have already seen the handstitched Rakodi choker necklace giveaway on Instagram and Facebook.
