    Hi Divya..lovely post. I have a photo of my grandfather's sister wearing oddiyanam. tat was worn everyday she said. Golden one for occasions and brass ones daily. A simple belt type beaded in corners a beautiful accessory for paavaadai chatai worn by little girls is indeed a pleasure to watch. And the hair combs come in different forms tat can be worn on braided hair as well. Beautifully written…..keep going.

    yes, waistbelts are a very Indian trend, which is catching on in the west now. Maybe it will come back a full round to India soon
