As Promised here is the matching Crystal Love necklace to the oh so beautiful crystal love earrings – In gorgeous greens and stunning blues – this one is sure to steal your heart. Lets gets started straight away on the tutorial. Spoiler alert – It uses up little leftover bits of chain that you never know what to do with!!
Crystal Love Rhinestone necklace
Materials
1 Large glass pear rhinestone sapphire blue 25×18 mm
2 Large pear glass rhinestone dark petrol 25×18 mm
2 Rhinestone foiled glass pear turquoise 18×13 mm
2 Rhinestone foiled glass pear peridot green 18×13 mm
2 Rhinestone pear glass sapphire blue 18×13 mm
3 Brass setting with 1 loop for pear rhinestone 25×18 mm
6 Prong setting with 2 loops for pear brass 18×13 mm
10 brass jump rings
brass chain
1 lobster clasp
Method:
1. Set all the rhinestone crystals in their respective settings. Click here for full instructions to learn how to prong set your stones just like I showed in my crystal love earrings post
2. cut 6 pieces of chain- 1 inch each
3. connect the small sapphire stone to the turquoise and then to the peridot, repeat for the other side.
4. cut the remaining chain into 2 pieces of 4 inches, add clasp and jumprings and then connect the other end of the chain with rings to the peridot stones
6. dangle the big sapphire stone at the center of the chain with a ring to complete the necklace
That completes the necklace. When working with two loop settings like these the possibilities are endless – you dont have to just connect them to one another with jump rings. You can include bits of chain, strung or looped beads or even wire work components.
Disclosure: I received these gorgeous Rhinestones and settings from Beadmixer as a part of a tutorial exchange program by Totally Tutorials.
I hope you find it interesting
