With Christmas coming up here is a typical red-Green-gold necklace with a short DIY – tutorial. Its pretty fun and fancy necklace that requires only stringing skills so you can easily whip up a dozen for presents. However I dont have step by step pictures as I am a little tied up with work now, but I do have extremely clear instructions with all resources mentioned. Incase of any doubts please ask me!
So like the fairy lights necklace which only had instructions and not step – by step pics, I present to you one Miss. Vivacious boho necklace, A necklace that is really simple to make but stunning when worn – and it falls under my favourite category (style) of “Indian Contemporary” Do try it out
Vivacious Boho Necklace tutorial
Materials:
2 brown resin faceted opal finish 2 hole teardrop cabochons
2 red resin faceted opal finish 2 hole teardrop cabochons
2 deep pink resin faceted opal finish 2 hole teardrop cabochons
9 pale green 12mm faceted translucent glass beads
2 opaque green glass bicones beads
2 matt gold acrylic disc spacers
60 dark blue 6mm glass beads
20″ of 0.015 beading wire
6 gold tone 7mm jump rings
3 gold tone 10mm jump rings
1” gold tone chain links
1 gold tone coin charm
4 gold tone 2mm crimp beads
2 gold tone round crimp covers
1 gold tone 9x14mm lobster clasp

Method:
1. Convert all 6 teardrops into dangles by adding them to jump rings
2. Use one 20″ piece of beading wire to string 30 blue beads, followed by 1 bicone, 1 spacer, two green faceted beads. Add the brown teardrop dangle by stringing the jump with the cabochon, add another green bead. Alternate with dangle and bead by placing browns at the extremes, followed by red and deep pink in the center. Follow with one green round bead, spacer, bicone and 30 blue beads.
3. Insert each end of wire through 2 crimps, a jump ring and crimp tight. Cover crimps with a crimp cover. Add lobster clasp to one end and add a spare ring to the other.
4. Insert 1 inch chain links at the end and use a jump ring connect a coin charm.
So there it is , my Vivacious yet Boho Christmas Necklace. If you are someone who prefer heavy chunky necklaces, then you can set the teardrops in frames, before stringing them.
