Alambre – part 3 Wire earrings

Of all wire components I love swirls the most. They are the most forgiving, easy to make and pretty to look at. As a continuation of my Alambre – Wire jewelry collection, I made these swirl based Wire earrings. The work of Heidi Seers from Refreshing designs has been my major inspiration. All these pieces have been made with 18g annodized aluminum – colored wire, glass crystal, cloisonne beads and metal beads.

The first one is inspired by a peacock – green- body, gold – opened fan and pink for the legs

The second one is called – Looking over the railing, for it reminded me for a person, standing in the balcony with knuckles curved under the chin and looking over the railing. I do that gesture a lot even when looking at my comp. My mom once took a picture of me that way to tease me. 

  This one is just a combo of blue and green swirls – cool and serene and the aurora borealis coating on the crystal gives a water fall effect. The second is made using faux rudraksha and is based on the basic double spiral design

This a birds nest based earrings with twisted wire, rhinestone ball beads and gold rimmed glass beads. Next has a combination of aluminum wire, brass wire, brass chain and cloissone beads.
