Square ring

I had stopped making rings sometime back because i could not get the perfect shape and size without the ring mandrel. The frame would become either too big or too small and by the time I would realise that, I would have already completed the whole ring.
One day looking through my seed beads, i got an idea. Why not make a ring without a frame or for that matter without knotting, soldering or even fusing.
It was an exciting challenge and the result is much better than what I expected. I have used rectangular seed beads and now have a perfect square ring for my size without using a mandrel.
It is made on one length of tigertail, where a medium sized glass bead is positioned at the end of every side of the square and the number of seed beads on every side depend on the exact width of your finger. It has neither a frame no an end knot. Its looped completely and stays sturdy owing to its shape & structure.

It is very colorful, looks quirky got a oval face and in fact looks like a chemical compound chain from my organic chem class.
Cheers
