I am a complete kid, when its comes to stories – whether I am reading one or seeing it as a movie or hearing a story thats being narrated, I get so engrossed in it that I tend to transport myself virtually into them. I have been an ardent fan “Once upon a time” a show that combines all fairytales by putting a spin on them and airs on Star world( in India). I was so enchanted by the ‘enchanted forest’ and wanted to create something based on it. Of all the ideas I had in mind inspired by this series (& I have tons), the ones about pixies and fairy seemed most practical and out of that was born – Pixie Dust.
Pixie Dust Comprises of seven completely one of a kind necklaces – each for a day of the week and combines fuzziness of crocheted yarn with sparkle of glitter that resembles pixie dust.
So What is Pixie Dust?
According to the Disney Folks, Pixie Dust is a magical golden glitter-like powder that helps you fly when you believe in yourself and its powers which is garnered from thinking happy thoughts. Pixie dust in other colors like blue, pink, purple, green, orange, silver, and bronze possess their own unique, magical properties.
In a sense this collection is more inspired by Tinkerbell, but I have never seen Tinkerbell ( movie) so Once upon a time it is:)
