While I photographing and cataloging the first two lines of my Dhathu collection, I received some custom orders, the most important of them being Cameo jewelry. A client of mine wanted cameos set in wire bezels as pendants to be worn with different chains nad ribbons. Here is what I created for her. I used the viking knit wire bezel setting in brass wire and mounted the cabs on them and embellished with faux pearls.
When I ordered the resin cabochons for this project, inspiration struck me to make more cameo jewlery pieces. Here they are – cameo cabs set in resin frames, surrounded with pretty little pearls and rhinestones.
Here’s how I made the following three:
I hand painted the frames in two- three tones each for a unique effect. I glued down the cameo and surrounded them with rhinestones or pearls. I loved using Mod Podge Dimensional Magic for this project as it dries clear and easy to use while suspending multiple objects in it.

I looped together faux pearls for a classy feel and put bold clasps in the front to add a whimsical touch. I used a cute dragonfly clasp for the purple piece and a stunning swarovski clasp (which I bought 3 years back and never used as clients fund it expensive) for the green-gray piece. I left the yellow one plain as it was already too shiny from the rhinestones and the gold accent on the frame.
So How did you like the pieces?
I hope you find it interesting
Cheers
