Another full year has gone by and its Blogoversary again….Last year in my blogoversary post I had stated the achievements of that year and made some commitments…so lets see if I was able to fulfill any of those
– To reach 10000 hits (was at 7500), 50 followers & 100 posts – This blog as of today has around 81,720 hits, 164 followers and this is my 148th post
– Online store – Started with Artfire and when closed the free section moved on to ETSY & Recyled market. I also sell through Facebook for Indian customers
– Grow my Facebook page – Has 98 likes and bunch of sales
– Giveaways – Hosted Sew mama sew giveaway twice, a 26 giveaway (of fabric earrings) once and Participated in a gift exchange program
– Awards – Special thanks to Janelle (Pinks and fairy tales) for the versatile blogger award and Arul Jyothi Karikalan (creative Arul) for the Liebster award..!! Thanks a millions gurls!!

We have also had a very informative Bridal series and lapidary/metal information series. JewelsofSayuri has also been featured a few times – CMWS, Allfreebeadedjewelry, Make and Meet, Craft gossip…etc. I have also had the opportunity to feature some very talented people through the blog hop. Started Blogger Kootam for Chennai based crafters and designers and had a great meet.
Finally Better Work – now thats for you guys to say!!;)
All this was possible only because of the suport and love that you guys have given me…I am not saying this for namesake and the above statistics do prove my point.

Finally due to Public demand I have changed the Blog background to white…( It took a lot of work). Also since there is a lot of stuff going on in this blog now, I have an index page (look for it on the page header) where I have categorized most of the stuff like tutorials and series posts. But for inspiration, we will have to still flip through the blog 😀
Also from now on you will have direct links to the merchandise of the day from the Pick your plum site…( find today’s pick in the right side bar)..so pick your plum before your neightbour does..not sure what it is about…will do a post on it soon!!
