In continuation to my clips & barrets post, in June, here are a few pony tailies (small bands to hold plaits or pony tail hairstyles) inspired by posts from the blog – Little Birdie secrets….
Made from Leftover buttons (from my MG days) are a all you need for a splash of colour…so say hello to Pop art with buttons….
They were originally made a pins but I have converted the same concept into hair bands by stitching a stretchy hair band to it.
If you attach a ring base instead of a stretchy band you’ll get button rings. and if you stick them up and put a hook through them they’ll become earrings. And with a bail they’ll became a pendant..When in doubt to embellish…choose a button..its sits pretty looks quirky. 🙂
