Soap Jewelry

Last week when I was hunting for information on Lamasa, I stumbled upon an art blog which has great pictures of floral arrangements. On a closer I found that they were actually ” Soap Flowers” and they were very pretty. This led to search for a tutorial to make the perfect Soap Dough and it took quite an effort. So I decided not to waste it but wasn’t interested in making flowers however pretty they looked ( Have loads of display stuff at my place !!) So here I am making (Trying to make) jewelry with soap dough. Pendants are the easiest to make – mould some dough and throw in an eye pin and you are good to go. Earrings are a little tricky as you need two pieces that look alike.

Here’s the first piece (probably the best as its my most favorite) – Lime & Lemony the perfect accessory for a white summer dress probably with a matching bag to go with it.

Next was a simple coiled pendant, I decided to be a little more traditional with it and so ended up making matching Jumkas in blue – The visual is not quite flattering but looks very pretty when worn
The Red Elephant family was quite fun to make. Planning to make more animal figures soon.
Any suggestions…let me know

Cheers
